The document setting out how Users' personal data is processed and protected.

This Privacy Policy contains general information about the processing of personal data of visitors to the website and clients using the services of Fire Protection Solutions. This document has been prepared on the basis of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR).

§ 1. Personal Data Controller

  1. The Controller of your personal data is Fire Protection Solutions Jakub Baran, registered at: ul. Grzybowa 7A lok. 2, 05-825 Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Poland.
  2. The company is entered in the Central Register and Information on Business Activity (CEIDG) and holds NIP: 6182094888 and REGON: 528892780.
  3. The Controller can be contacted on matters relating to personal data protection by email at: biuro@fp-solutions.pl.

§ 2. Purposes, legal bases and duration of processing

The Controller processes personal data for the following purposes:

  1. Contact and handling of enquiries – on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (the Controller's legitimate interest). Data (e.g. name, surname, email, phone number) are processed in order to respond to enquiries sent via the form or by email. This data is stored for the period necessary to handle the enquiry.
  2. Provision of fire safety engineering services (including Fire Safety Manuals, CFD simulations, audits, fire protection reports) – on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (necessity to perform a contract). Data is processed for the duration of the contract and until claims arising from it become time-barred.
  3. Fulfilment of legal obligations (accounting, taxes) – on the basis of Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. Data is stored for the period required by generally applicable law (usually 5 years from the end of the calendar year in which the tax payment deadline fell).

§ 3. Recipients of personal data

For the correct functioning of the website and the delivery of the fire safety services provided, the Controller uses external providers. Data may be transferred to:

  • the accounting office serving the Controller;
  • hosting and email service providers;
  • providers of software for managing the business and engineering projects;
  • state authorities (e.g. the Tax Office) where this results from applicable law.

The Controller entrusts data only to entities that guarantee the application of appropriate personal-data protection and security measures required by law.

§ 4. Rights of data subjects

In accordance with the GDPR, every User has:

  • The right of access to their data and to receive a copy of it;
  • The right to rectification (correction) of their data;
  • The right to erasure of data (where there are no grounds for it to be processed);
  • The right to restrict the processing of personal data;
  • The right to data portability;
  • The right to object to processing based on the Controller's legitimate interest.

In addition, the User has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority – the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO) – if they consider that the processing of their data infringes the law.

§ 5. Data security

The Controller applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data processed, proportionate to the risks and the categories of data protected. In particular, it protects data against disclosure to unauthorised persons, seizure by an unauthorised person, processing in breach of applicable law, and alteration, loss, damage or destruction (including through the use of SSL certificates on the site).

§ 6. Cookies and tracking technologies

The website automatically collects only the information contained in cookies. They serve the correct operation of the site as well as statistical and analytical purposes. The detailed rules for using and managing cookies are described in a separate document: the Cookie Policy.

§ 7. Final provisions

The Controller reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy. Changes may result from the development of internet technology, changes in generally applicable law and the development of the fire safety engineering services provided by the company. Users will be informed of any changes in a visible and understandable manner on this page.
